1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of Yamaguchi Motors 合同会社 ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Vehicle Sales

All vehicle sales are subject to availability. Prices are quoted in Japanese Yen (JPY) and exclude shipping, taxes, and customs duties unless otherwise stated. Vehicle photographs and descriptions are provided for reference. Final condition may vary slightly from photos. Auction grade is provided by the source auction house.

3. Payment Terms

Payment methods accepted: Bank transfer, Cash, Stripe (credit/debit cards), and approved financing partners. A deposit or full payment secures your purchase, as confirmed on your invoice. Full payment is required before vehicle release or shipment. Please do not send card details by WhatsApp, LINE, or email — remote card payments use a secure Stripe payment link.

4. Export Services

Export documentation is prepared on your behalf. You are responsible for compliance with import regulations in your destination country, including customs duties, taxes, and inspection requirements.

5. Cancellation

Auction orders: if the car is not won at auction, you receive a full refund — or we search another car for you, your choice. After a winning bid, cancellation is not possible in principle; if a cancellation is accepted for special reasons, 20% of the total amount is deducted and the remainder is refunded. For reserved stock vehicles and export work already started, specific cancellation terms are detailed in your individual sales contract and Return Policy.

6. Liability

Yamaguchi Motors is not liable for indirect damages, delays caused by shipping companies, customs, or natural disasters. Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the vehicle.

Payment Methods

• Bank Transfer (TT): Preferred for international buyers. Wire transfer to our designated bank account in Japan.
• Cash: Accepted in JPY at our office in Ota City.
• Stripe: Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX).
• Financing: Available through partner lenders (subject to approval).

Payment Schedule

1. Deposit upon order confirmation (amount confirmed on your invoice)
2. Full payment before vehicle release or shipment
3. Receipt and ownership documents issued upon clearing

Domestic Delivery (Within Japan)

Free delivery within Gunma Prefecture for purchases. Other prefectures: approximately ¥30,000–¥120,000+ depending on region (Hokkaido and Okinawa include ferry costs). The exact quote for your address is confirmed before purchase — see the delivery table on each vehicle page.

International Shipping

Two shipping methods available:

• RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off): Cars drive onto a dedicated vessel. Lower cost. 4-8 weeks transit time.
• Container: Vehicle sealed in container. Better security. 6-10 weeks transit. Higher cost.

Shipping cost depends on destination, vehicle size, and method. Quotes provided after purchase confirmation.

Export Documentation

We provide: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Export Certificate (英文抹消), Insurance Certificate, Auction Sheet (where applicable).

General Policy

Used vehicle sales are generally final due to the nature of the product. However, we want every customer satisfied with their purchase. The following policies apply:

Domestic Sales (Within Japan)

• Inspection Period: 7 days from delivery for major mechanical issues not disclosed at sale.
• Eligibility: Defects must be documented and reported within 7 days.
• Resolution: Repair, exchange, or partial refund at our discretion.
• Exclusions: Wear and tear, cosmetic issues disclosed at sale, modifications by buyer.

Export Sales

Once a vehicle is loaded onto the shipping vessel, the sale is final. We strongly recommend:

• Reviewing all auction sheets and photos before purchase
• Requesting additional inspection if needed (additional fee may apply)
• Confirming all specifications match your requirements

Damage in Transit

Vehicles are inspected before loading. We are not responsible for damage during shipping. Marine insurance is strongly recommended and can be arranged through our partners.

Disputes

Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes are subject to the laws and jurisdiction of Japan.
