- Limited website and advertising information, such as pages or tour ideas viewed, checkout events, campaign parameters and identifiers set by enabled analytics or advertising services.
3. Why we use it
We use information to answer enquiries, assess route feasibility, take and administer bookings, provide customer support, meet safety and legal obligations, prevent abuse, request and moderate verified reviews, understand website performance and measure advertising. We use only what is reasonably necessary for each purpose.
4. Who receives it
Information may be handled by our authorised staff and service providers that support the booking, including Stripe for payment, WordPress and hosting providers, email delivery providers, and the confirmed transport, guide, accommodation or activity provider where needed to deliver the trip. Advertising and analytics technologies enabled on the wider website may include Meta, Google and TikTok. Those providers may process data outside Japan under their own privacy terms.
5. Cookies and measurement
The tours plugin keeps privacy-conscious first-party funnel totals without storing names, email addresses, phone numbers or IP addresses in its event table. The wider website also has commerce and advertising integrations that may use cookies or similar technology. Before advertising campaigns, the site operator must ensure the consent mechanism presented to visitors controls non-essential marketing tags as required.
6. Retention and security
We retain booking and transaction information for the period needed to provide the service, resolve disputes and meet accounting or legal obligations. Enquiries that do not become bookings and unpublished review submissions are removed or anonymised when no longer needed. We use access controls, server-side credential storage and signed payment notifications, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
You may ask what personal information we hold about you and request correction, deletion or restriction where applicable. You may also withdraw a review or marketing permission without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the email above. We may need to confirm your identity and may retain information that the law requires us to keep.
8. Changes
We may update this notice when our services or providers change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes should be reviewed before new advertising campaigns or new product lines launch.
This notice documents the tours workflow, but the active sitewide cookie and advertising configuration must also be checked in practice. Obtain qualified Japanese privacy advice for the final production policy and consent implementation.
