Yokohama Family: Cup Noodles & Anpanman - Private Day Tour from Tokyo
Make your own cup noodles, meet Anpanman, ride the harbour Ferris wheel and cross the bay by ropeway - a day built around children, in a van with child seats. One price per group.
Road-day snapshot
This is your private day, so the route is flexible: tell us if you want to skip a stop, stay longer somewhere or add a place nearby.
The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
Tokyo’s theme parks mean queues and a lot of walking. Yokohama, 40 minutes away, has three of the best places for children in Japan within a short drive of each other, none of them exhausting, and a private van means naps happen in the van, not on the pavement.
We collect you at your Tokyo hotel with child seats already fitted. First stop is the Cup Noodles Museum in Minato Mirai, where each child (and adult) designs a cup, chooses a soup and toppings and seals their own personal cup noodle to take home; the chicken-ramen workshop, where you make noodles from flour, can be booked ahead for older children. Next door is Cosmo World with its giant clock Ferris wheel over the harbour – the ride is 15 minutes and the view covers the whole bay.
The Anpanman Children’s Museum, ten minutes away, is for the under-sixes: the character shows, the bakery where the buns have faces, the playground floor. Older children who have outgrown Anpanman can instead ride the Yokohama Air Cabin, the ropeway across the harbour – your choice on the day.
After lunch we stay in Minato Mirai. Rinko Park and Zou-no-hana Terrace give the children space to run with the harbour in front of them, the Nippon Maru tall ship is moored alongside and you can walk her decks, and the Hara Model Railway Museum nearby runs one of the largest working model layouts in the world – the best indoor stop when it rains. We stay as long as the children last, then drive them back to Tokyo asleep.
What you pay is what you pay
The price is one fixed amount for your whole group: the private van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide for the day. There are no per-person supplements and no booking fees. Museum and attraction entries and your lunch are paid by each guest on the day; see the price notes below.
Good to know
Entry costs: Cup Noodles Museum 500 yen (children free), My Cup Noodles 500 yen, Anpanman Museum about 2,200-2,600 yen per person over one year old, Hara Model Railway Museum 1,200 yen adult / 600 yen child.
