The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
Shibamata in Katsushika, eastern Tokyo, is the town of Tora-san, the hero of Japan's longest-running film series. It still has the old temple street where the films were shot.
Taishakuten. The temple's hall is covered in detailed wood carvings, one of the finest sets in Tokyo, protected behind glass galleries you can walk around.
Yagiri no Watashi. One of the last hand-rowed river ferries in Tokyo crosses the Edo River here.
The Street. Dango rice cakes, grilled eel and old shops on the temple approach.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help.
