The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
At Haneda Airport, Japan Airlines opens part of its maintenance base to visitors. After a short exhibition on aviation and airline work, you walk into a hangar where real aircraft are being serviced.
The hangar. You stand on the hangar floor with airliners a few metres away. Engineers are at work, and the scale of the aircraft is hard to believe until you are under a wing.
The day. We collect you from your hotel, take you to Haneda, and wait while you do the tour. Afterwards we can stop at the airport observation deck to watch take-offs, then drive you back.

Hangar tours need an advance reservation and places are limited. We will tell you before the tour the time of your slot. If no slot is available on your date you may move your date or cancel for a full refund.

Can we change the route on the day?
Yes. It is a private tour in our own van, so your driver-guide can skip, extend or add stops where time allows.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help. If a typhoon or official weather warning stops the trip, we offer a new date or a full refund. For a GetYourGuide booking, the terms shown on that booking apply.
