The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
Naruko is a hot spring town in northern Miyagi. It is one of the homes of the kokeshi, the simple wooden doll turned on a lathe and painted by hand.
DAY 1. The drive north. We walk the Naruko gorge, a deep valley best seen from the Ofukazawa bridge, and bathe in the town's hot spring.
DAY 2. Kokeshi street and a painting session where you paint your own doll, then the drive back to Tokyo.
This is a private tour. Only your group.
Your driver-guide plans the day around your group's pace, explains each stop in English, Hindi or Urdu, and can adjust the order of stops on the day. The tour is private, so only your group travels in the van.

Yes. It is a private tour in our own van, so your driver-guide can skip, extend or add stops where time allows.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help.
