Leave central Tokyo in a private, air-conditioned van and see Mount Fuji and Hakone in one day. Your driver-guide handles the driving, parking and timing, so you decide how long to spend at each stop.
What you pay is what you pay
The price covers the entire day: private van, fuel, expressway tolls, parking and your English-speaking driver-guide. There are no hidden charges, no per-person supplements and nothing extra to pay us on the day. Only the few optional stops marked Extra fee in the itinerary charge their own admission, and it is entirely up to you whether to visit them.
The fuji side
Arakurayama Sengen Park and Chureito Pagoda – climb to the five-storey pagoda for the classic view of pagoda, town and Mount Fuji in one frame.
Oishi Park – lakeside flower beds with Fuji straight ahead.
Oshino Hakkai – eight spring-fed ponds filled by Fuji snowmelt, with old thatched houses and food stalls.
Kitaguchi-hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine – the ancient cedar approach to the original Mount Fuji climbing gate.
Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi – the two largest Fuji Five Lakes, with time for lunch by the water.
Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba – a rebuilt thatched-roof village with craft workshops and mountain views.
The hakone side
Lake Ashi, the Hakone Open-Air Museum, the lakeside torii of Hakone Shrine and the Hakone Ropeway over the Owakudani valley.
You choose the day
The day runs about 11 hours door to door, and every group gets Chureito Pagoda, Oshino Hakkai, Lake Kawaguchi, Lake Ashi, Hakone Shrine and the Hakone Ropeway. Beyond those, tell your driver-guide which extras you want and he fits in as many as the day allows: Arakurayama Sengen Park, Oishi Park, Kitaguchi-hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, Lake Yamanaka, Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, Mount Fuji 5th Station, Narusawa Ice Cave, Fugaku Wind Cave, Gotemba Premium Outlets and the Hakone Open-Air Museum. Nobody is rushed through a fixed checklist.
Good to know
Mount Fuji visibility is never guaranteed. The order of stops may change because of traffic, crowds, weather or road restrictions, and your driver-guide will tell you what fits comfortably into the day. This is a long day out, so plan on around 11 hours door to door.

This is a full day out. Plan on about 11 hours door to door from your Tokyo address. One fixed price for the whole day - no hidden charges or per-person supplements. Mount Fuji visibility is never guaranteed. The order of stops may change because of traffic, crowds, weather, road restrictions or closures. Traffic is heaviest at weekends and on public holidays. Stops marked Extra fee charge admission on site; you can skip them at no cost. The day is flexible: to skip a stop, stay longer or add a place nearby, write it in the booking notes. Each summer the Fuji Subaru Line closes to private vehicles and the 5th Station is reachable only by authorised shuttle bus; those fares are not included. In 2026 this runs 3 July to 10 September. Yamanashi Prefecture sets the dates each year, so please confirm when booking. Pickup is from a vehicle-accessible address inside Tokyo's 23 wards. Airports and cruise ports are not covered. Can we change the route on the day?
Yes. It is a private tour in our own van, so your driver-guide can skip, extend or add stops where time allows.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help. If a typhoon or official weather warning stops the trip, we offer a new date or a full refund. For a GetYourGuide booking, the terms shown on that booking apply.
