Leave central Tokyo early in a private, air-conditioned van for Matsumoto. Begin at Matsumoto Castle, where your guide takes you into the preserved wooden keep. Castle admission tickets are included in the price. The interior has steep, narrow stairs and no elevator, so guests may instead enjoy the grounds if they prefer. Continue to Nakamachi, where traditional black-and-white storehouses now contain small shops, galleries, and craft businesses. Your driver-guide leads a public-street walk focused on local materials, design, and the way the merchant district has been reused. Browse independently and purchase lunch or souvenirs at your own expense. Paid workshops and special exhibitions are not part of the advertised itinerary. If time and traffic permit, pause at nearby Nawate Street before the return journey. The order may change because of traffic, weather, castle congestion, or temporary closures. After approximately twelve hours including travel, return to your vehicle-accessible pickup point within Tokyo's 23 wards.

Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help.
