The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
Kawasaki began in Kobe, and its museum, Kawasaki Good Times World, sits by the harbour inside the Kobe Maritime Museum. It reopened in September 2026 with renewed displays. On this 3-day private trip you drive from Tokyo to Kobe to see it.
The museum tells the story of Kawasaki from its founding, with Kawasaki motorcycles and other machines the company builds, a World Theater, and a Flight Lab with a flight simulator. Your ticket also covers the Kobe Maritime Museum.
You walk Meriken Park and the Kobe waterfront, and you visit Arima Onsen, one of Japan's oldest hot spring towns, in the hills behind the city. The tour is run by a Japanese used-car dealer, so your guide knows the cars as well as the roads.
This is a private tour. Only your group. Your group of 1 to 6 people rides in one van with one English-speaking driver-guide, who also speaks Hindi and Urdu. No other guests ever join.
Kobe is about 550 km from Tokyo, so Days 1 and 3 have long drives with breaks. The museum is closed on Mondays (or the next weekday after a Monday holiday) and from 28 December to 3 January.
If Kawasaki Good Times World is closed on your date, you can take a full refund of your booking, guaranteed. If you prefer, we can instead visit nearby sights around the Kobe Maritime Museum on the harbour and spend longer in Arima Onsen.

Yes. It is a private tour in our own van, so your driver-guide can skip, extend or add stops where time allows.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help.
