The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
The Suzuka 8 Hours is Japan's biggest motorcycle race. Teams from Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki fight for eight hours on the famous Suzuka track, with riders changing at each pit stop. The race ends after dark, with the bikes' lights running through the night and fireworks at the finish.
On this private 2-day trip you go from Tokyo to Suzuka for the race weekend. Your race ticket is included. On Day 1 you see Saturday's track action and visit the Honda RACING Gallery, Honda's showcase of its racing machines at the circuit.
Day 2 is race day. Your guide helps you pick viewing spots, explains rider changes and pit strategy, and keeps an eye on the heat. The tour is run by a Japanese used-car dealer, so your guide knows the cars as well as the roads.
This is a private tour. Only your group. Your group of 1 to 6 people rides in one van with one English-speaking driver-guide, who also speaks Hindi and Urdu. No other guests ever join.
The Suzuka 8 Hours is held in late July or early August. The exact date is set by the organizers each year. This product is only sold for the official race weekend.
If the race is cancelled on your date, you can take a full refund of your booking, guaranteed. If you prefer, we can instead take you to another race weekend at Suzuka Circuit.

Can we change the route on the day?
Yes. It is a private tour in our own van, so your driver-guide can skip, extend or add stops where time allows.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help. If a typhoon or official weather warning stops the trip, we offer a new date or a full refund. For a GetYourGuide booking, the terms shown on that booking apply.
