The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
Sportsland Sugo in Murata, Miyagi is a classic Japanese mountain circuit. It is known for big climbs and drops and a steep hairpin that tests every car. On this 2-day private trip you watch a Super GT round there, Japan's most popular sports car series.
Your general admission race ticket is included. Your guide explains how Super GT works: the two classes of cars, the weight handicaps, the pit stops and the teams from Toyota, Nissan and Honda. You choose where to watch, and your guide helps you find the good viewing spots around the hillside.
On the way you stop at Shiroishi Castle, a rebuilt wooden castle tower, and the Shiroishi area known for its kokeshi wooden dolls. The tour is run by a Japanese used-car dealer, so your guide knows the cars as well as the roads.
This is a private tour. Only your group. Your group of 1 to 6 people rides in one van with one English-speaking driver-guide, who also speaks Hindi and Urdu. No other guests ever join.
This product is only sold for confirmed Super GT race weekends at Sugo. The round is usually held in late summer or autumn. The exact date is set each year by the organizers.
If the race is cancelled on your date, you can take a full refund of your booking, guaranteed. If you prefer, we can instead take you to another race weekend at Sportsland Sugo.

Can we change the route on the day?
Yes. It is a private tour in our own van, so your driver-guide can skip, extend or add stops where time allows.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help. If a typhoon or official weather warning stops the trip, we offer a new date or a full refund. For a GetYourGuide booking, the terms shown on that booking apply.
