Nihonmatsu in Fukushima is an old castle town under Mount Adatara. A poet once wrote that the sky above Adatara is the only true sky, and the line is still quoted in Japan.
THE CASTLE. Kasumigajo castle park, with stone walls and a view across the valley.
MOUNT ADATARA. We ride the gondola up the mountain and walk a short trail with wide views.
THE TOWN. Sake breweries and the old streets, then the drive back.
This is a long day, around 12 hours. This is a private tour. Only your group in the vehicle.
The gondola closes in bad weather and in winter. If the gondola does not run on your date, you can take a full refund of your booking, guaranteed.

No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help.
