The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
Nyuto Onsen is a group of hot spring inns deep in a beech forest in Akita. The water in many baths is milky white or blue. The most famous inn has thatched buildings and outdoor baths that have looked the same for generations.
DAY 1. The drive north. We arrive in the afternoon and take a day bath at one of the inns.
DAY 2. We visit two more baths on the Nyuto circuit and walk a forest path. Then the drive back to Tokyo.
This is a private tour. Only your group.
Day bathing hours vary by inn. We will tell you before the tour which baths are open on your date. If the hot spring baths are closed on your date, you can take a full refund of your booking, guaranteed.

Yes. It is a private tour in our own van, so your driver-guide can skip, extend or add stops where time allows.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help.
