The experience
A private journey, thoughtfully paced
Ota in Gunma is a car town. Subaru grew here out of the Nakajima aircraft works, and its main plant still sits in the middle of the city. This private day takes you to the place the cars come from, not to a showroom.
THE PLANT VISITOR CENTRE. Subaru runs a visitor centre beside its Gunma plant, with historic cars, engines and the story of how an aircraft maker became a car maker. Where the plant programme is open on your date, we join it. We are a Japanese used-car dealer as well as a tour company, so your guide can explain what you are looking at, from boxer engines to all-wheel drive.
A CAR TOWN. After the plant we drive through Ota's industrial streets, stop at a local car culture spot, and have lunch where the factory workers eat.

Plant visits need a reservation and the programme can change. We will tell you before the tour exactly what is open on your date. If the plant visit is not available on your date, you can take a full refund of your booking, guaranteed. If you prefer, we can instead visit another car museum of the same kind.

Yes. It is a private tour in our own van, so your driver-guide can skip, extend or add stops where time allows.
Is the price per person?
No. The price is for your whole private group of up to 6 people, including the van, fuel, tolls, parking and your driver-guide.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for an automatic full refund to the original payment method. Within 24 hours, contact us directly so we can help.
